Hello! my name is Luiz, I am 34 years old and the moment I live in Manaus, until some months ago I didn't watch TV a lot, because I work full day and the night I’m so tired that I sleep soon, happily, now I have cable TV in my house and the one that more I like to attend are the programs of Channel, there has a lot of programs interesting there as: “mega-constructions” and “the way that things work”, it is very cool.
Here in the Brasil the most popular programs are the soap operas and the soccer, usually I don’t like of soap opera, because it is very boring, I believe that the people watch soap operas why they show the reality and controversial subjects.

Belém is the capital of Pará, founded in 1616 was named Forte do Presépio, it is 2.140 km distant of the capital of the country, with area of 1.065 and has a population approximately of 1.437.600.

There are many good things in Belém as the people, their foods and tourist points like: theater of the peace and the “see-the-weight”, but unhappily as most of the metropolises the population increased a lot and the jobs are always rarer, infernal traffic and the increase of the violence.

Well, the capital city where I live is manaus, manaus talking about isn't easy, because after living here, don't know her very well, Manaus is a good city to live and offers many opportunities for those who want to study and grow in life . Well, on July 15,2001, I and my husband, we went to restaurant in Carteret, New Jersey, When hundreds of people reparted seeing an the sky. This moviment scare me, so looked to sky, saw a strange object hovered above the city.
Some people thought that the strange object might have been a giant airship. Well, guessed it must have been props from a movie.

You can visit Palacio Rio Negro – extravagant home of a German rubber baron built at the end of the 19th century, it was the governor’s official mansion and now is a cultural center with regional art.
you can go to Igreja de São Sebastião, this neoclassical church is lavish with white marble, stained glass windows and ceiling paintings. It was erected in 1880.
You can visit Teatro Amazonas, the Manaus opera house, it was built in 1890, it´s the most beautiful opera house in my opinion.
You can do one day excursion to Encontro das Aguas, the meeting of the waters with a side trip to Lago Januário, ou visit National Research Institute of Amazonia (INPA) to walking in the woods in the middle og the city.
Here is good place to live, but here is very hot.

July 15, 2001, I was talking with some friends at a coffee shop, near where it happened, we were talking about strange events worldwide when we heard a big demonstration in the streets, we decided to go see what was going on and interested in our great surprise we saw everything that happened, it seemed a kind of fireworks frozen in the air and at some point began to move and line up in a circle, at first it was wonderful, more after some time began to create fear among the people I swear that all this happened or if I knew what would happen I'd be a machine with high-definition camcorder to record everything that happened at that time. It was surreal in August that left everybody without really knowing what he had seen.
